The gear-switching performance of the Dyna-Sys-drive significantly depends on the new Shimano Deore Rapidfire Plus shifters with 2-Way-Release and easily readable optical gear display. 2-Way Release for different riding styles or shifting (indexfinger or thumb) from various riding positions. The upper lever still performs the same function, but now it swings both ways. Pull it with your finger or push it with your thumb - you choose. Longer main lever with improved lever shape and ergonomic touch points for improved ergonomics and easier operation. A more crisp shifting feel offers more feedback to the rider.
