Now it is time to introduce this revolutionary technology into the Shimano Ultegra, making it available to a much wider group of road racers and enthusiasts. The advantages of Di2 (Digital Integrated Intelligence) are clear for everybody who has tested it: changing gears becomes easier, effortless and faster by simply touching the shift buttons. The electronic shifting logic is nearly the same as the Shimano mechanical system. There is no need to rethink!
The electronic Ultegra Di2 Dual Control Levers for 2x10 speed have an improved ergonomic shape. The Dual Control Levers show the importance of state-of-the-art technology with regard to performance enhancing design. A better access to the brake lever from the upper side gives smooth braking operation with a closer pivot. This results in better controllabillity for more aggressive riding style under severe conditions. With a reach adjustment mechanism the Dual Control Levers can be adjusted to the rider in order to better accommodate smaller hands and a wider assortment of bar bends. The hoods have an ergonomic design for increased comfort, even on long distance rides.
Note: Incl. braking cables and housing. Operation additionally requires EW-SD50 wires, a wire set SM-EW67, the battery SM-BTR1 and the battery bracket SM-BMR1. The Ultegra Di2 products are not compatible with Dura Ace Di2.
