Merida Speeder 5000 (2016)

The 2016 Merida Speeder 5000 is a high-end flat-bar road bike, perfect for the fast commute or regular city rider. The frameset is all-carbon, stiff, light and responsive, with a very slight departure from race-performance geometry to accommodate the flat bar. Kit is top-notch: Shimano Ultegra shifting, all-condition hydraulic disc brakes, a carbon cockpit, Formula wheelset, and the ace Maxxis Detonator tires, the fat, smooth tread offering surefooted traction wet or dry.
