The 2015 Merida Ride 100 is an entry-level road bike. Built on a light, responsive aluminum frame, the Ride is ready to ride, offering a fast, nimble platform to hone your road skills. Layout is casual, with slightly relaxed angles, good for long rides or newer riders, without sacrificing efficient power transfer. Kit is commensurate: Shimano's mixed drivetrain is widely geared, with a low end ready to climb an Alp and a high end big enough to come back down, brakes are low-profile dual pivot calipers, offering precise control, and the light alloy wheels are clad in sure-footed Kenda tires, 25 wide, with a big contact patch.
