The 2017 Merida One-Twenty XT-Edition Juliet is a high-end full-suspension trail bike. Its lightweight aluminum frame and swingarm, offered in a gaudy raspberry and lime color scheme, pairs with Fox suspension to provide a well-balanced, nimble ride, able to pick its way through boulder fields, climb tenuous trails, or blast along singletrack with panache. Kit is commensurate: componentry includes a full Shimano XT drivetrain, with the unsung but well-appreciated Shadow rear mech, M615 hydraulic disc brakes, and tough alloy wheels clad in broad, grippy Forekasters.
