Merida Ninety-Six 9.7000 (2017)

The 2017 Merida Ninety-Six 9.7000 is a high-end full-suspension cross-country mountain bike. Built on a light, responsive carbon frame, the 9.7000 is a speedster, its light weight, efficiency, and performance geometry combining to deliver on the trail. Suspension is RockShox, including the excellent SID fork, keeping the fast-rolling Fulcrum wheels down and the Continental Race Kings gripping the dirt. Kit is substantially Shimano's venerable, reliable XT group, including 2x11 drivetrain with Shadow derailleur and ace disc brakes with Ice-Tech rotors.
A very good cross-country mountain bike.
