The 2015 Merida Juliet 6.10-V is an entry-level women's mountain bike. A gentle introduction to the sport, the Juliet is laid out very friendly to newcomers, with a low standover height, relaxed upright seating, and a dependable component package with welcoming touches throughout, from intuitive controls to a casual-outfit pair of platform pedals and a chainguard.
Wheels are light alloy, rolling smoothly on treaded tires, equally at home on the trail or the street. The frame includes a suspension fork, taking bumps in the trail and potholes with equanimity. The Juliet won't be left behind by more experienced riders; it will perform quite well on longer rides and rougher trails.
