Welcome home, UMF! From MY 2013, the “UNITED MERIDA FREERIDERS” (successful not only in the dirt sector) are back aboard their mother ship. In addition, we present a refined and completely integrated “UMF Series” – with the well-proven FREDDY as long-travel fully representative. A mighty, superbly tracking 180 or 170 mm* suspension fork as well as 180 mm travel at the braking-neutral and downhill-orientated “VPK” rear stay make our FREDDY an ultimate fun weapon. Maximum performance is also ensured by a 10- or 9-speed drivetrain* (with single chain ring and reliable chain guide), powerful brakes and matching parts. The stunningly low weight of the latter nearly hides the fact that their ruggedness is adapted optimally to the respective field of application. Two model versions for 2013.
