The 2017 Merida eSpresso Sport 800 EQ is an electric-assist city bike. Fully loaded, the 800's accessory package has night visibility lights, a sturdy rear rack, full fenders, and the casual cyclist's friends, an un-forgettable wheel lock and a kickstand. The electric assist is capably provided by Shimano's Steps system, working smoothly with the electronic-shift Alfine internal gearing and stopped surely by the hydraulic disc brakes. Tough, fast-rolling e-bike-ready Continental tires are surefooted on pavement wet or dry.
