The 2017 Merida Big.Nine 9000 is a high-end cross-country mountain bike. Its light, stiff frame is contructed from Merida's best CF5 carbon mix, providing exceptional performance and high efficiency. The Fox Factory fork absorbs ripples and cushions the big bumps equably, keeping the wheels grounded at speed. Those wheels are a highlight of the build: DT Swiss' ace carbon XRCs climb like goats, descend with confidence, and sprint when the trail opens up. Shimano's top mechanical XTR group provides drivetrain and brakes.
