Merida Big.Nine 20 (2018)

The 2018 Merida Big.Nine 20 is an entry-level mountain bike. Its lightweight aluminum frame is quite sturdy, able to take the bumps and jumps on the trail, capably assisted by the Suntour suspension fork. Parts are chosen to hit the sweet spot between performance and value; Merida's own alloy cockpit is strong and light, and the gearing from Shimano spans a tremendous range, from a stump-pulling low to a high gear that will keep up on the steepest descents. The big 29er wheels roll easily over obstacles, tires providing grip on practically any terrain.
