FeaturesThe Nemesis frame features tubing made by SuperPlastic Forming. SPF is carried out at high temperatures, where the tube structure is in its most ‘plastic’ and formable state allowing better tube shapes that cannot be produced using traditional forming techniques. Whereas shape designs can be applied to 25% of the tube using hydroforming, SPF allows up to 90% manipulation. The result: more optimized shapes and less weight. The 46mm bore diameter of the Press Fit 30 BB system increases the frame's bottom bracket shell providing a larger welding surface increasing frame strength. Bearings are housed in nylon cups that are pressed into the frame's bottom bracket shell. With the maximum bending load at the front of a bike being found at the crown, a 1 1/8"-1.5" tapered head tube strengthens and stiffens the frame, while helping to reduce weight at the same time. X-Fusion's Velvet RL utilizes an on-off switch for on-the-fly suspension lockout and an air spring with external rebound adjustment for easy tuning. Alex XD Lite 650B rims feature a semi-aero double-wall profile with SSE (stainless single eyelets) for improved seating of the nipple head for a stronger wheel build. Formula Hi-Lo hubs feature a larger flange on the rotor mount side to increase wheel strength, machined cut-outs to reduce weight and sealed bearings to ensure durability. Schwalbe Racing Ralph dual compound folding tires are low profile and fast rolling but feature "half-open" designed shoulder lugs that result in ultimate control when cornering. Avid's Elixir 5 features an ambidextrous lever body utilizing Tapered Bore technology, easy access tooled reach adjust and a 2-piece caliper all resulting in a light, great feeling brake. SRAM's X9 10-speed rear derailleur features Exact Actuation and Direct Route cable technology for smooth, quick and precise shifting with less effort. SRAM's S1000 PressFit 30 crankset is forged out of AL-6066 alloy providing a crank that is light and 30% stronger than AL-6061 cranks. Ritchey's cockpit parts are manufactured by a 3D-forging process yielding optimal grain structure and eliminating all internal imperfections, allowing Ritchey to use less material without sacrificing strength or durability. Jamis lock-on grips feature a dual compound including gel in the palm area for comfort and dual lock rings for no-slip security. WTB's Silverado Comp features an elongated shell that's super-light and offers superior racer-body fit. The long narrow length allows the rider more pedaling positions.
