Laser's mini-cruiser design offers plenty of stand-over clearance for young
riders and a head-turning, two-tone paint finish that will be the talk of the
neighborhood.
The over-sized blades and leading axle dropout of the Laser fork assures it will
be up to the task of getting there and back safely.
Our alloy rims are anodized black to provide even greater corrosion and rust
resistance than the alloy already possesses.
Before wheels are laced and trued, the rim sidewalls are ground to provide a
smooth braking surface for the rear V-brake.
The 20" Laser actually offers two types of brakes: a standard rear coaster
brake, which most youngsters are familiar with, and a rear V-brake which many
are not. Having the rear coaster brake as a back-up, allows youngsters to get
used to hand-braking without going cold-turkey on the coaster brake they are
comfortable with.
The Laser's full-length & full ring-wrap chainguard keep clothes & legs cleanly
and safely out of the way of the chain.
Those knobby BMX tires look cool & grip good in the dirt, but they also feature
a rounded profile that rolls smoothly on neighborhood streets & driveways.
We build the Laser wheels with 36 spokes in a 3-cross lacing pattern for a
strong & durable wheel.
Our 4-bolt alloy stem and 580mm width steel BMX handlebars are stout &
tough.
If a steel or alloy part is not painted or anodized, we protect it with a black
electro-plating which enhances the corrosion resistance of that part. The satin
sheen of the finish looks good too.
Every Laser offers a kickstand for parking that pride & joy up securely, and a
safety bell to announce that the Laser has arrived. |
