| Features | Lady Bug's mini-moto "Y" frame design offers plenty of stand-over clearance for the youngest of new cyclists. We offer real ball bearing (not plastic bushing) wheels with 16 spokes that will roll smooth and last long Same thing for the crank and headset on Lady Bug: both offer full ball bearing construction so the 'lil Lady can pedal and turn comfortably and securely. Our full-length & full chainring-wrap chainguard keep clothes & legs cleanly and safely out of the way of the chain. Those wide 2.125" tires offer a large contact patch for stability and control, and they're pneumatic rubber, not rock solid plastic, so they can be filled with just the right amount of air to provide a comfortable ride. Fenders keep puddle spray off the bike AND the rider and look cute to boot. They also help to keep feet and hands away from spinning wheels. Lady Bug also features swept back handlebars that are easy to reach and promote a comfy & secure upright ride position. The stem on Lady Bug is all lightweight aluminum, with the top cap painted to match the frame color. If a steel or alloy part is not painted or anodized, we protect it with a black electro-plating which enhances the corrosion resistance of that part. The satin sheen of the finish looks good too. The Lady Bug saddle features plenty of padding & single loop springs for quality support and comfort. We finish it with a matching Lady Bug top cover print to match the frame & chainguard. Every Lady Bug offers stabilizing training wheels for learning how to ride safely and securely and a safety bell that will happily announce when the first ride has been successfully completed. There's a handlebar safety pad too, which every little tyke just loves to take off and put back on when they're not riding. |
