The Explorer 1's hi-tensile steel frame, while heavier than more expensive
aluminum, rides smoother & more comfortably than aluminum thanks to the
natural shock damping qualities of steel.
Our sloping double-diamond frame design with extra long head tube in 4 sizes
assures the best possible customer fit for greater comfort, better handling &
an all-around safer ride.
Our step-through version is exceptionally easy to mount thanks to the superlow
position of the S-bent top tube. No more swinging a leg over the rear
wheel, or pulling a knee up to the chest to step over the top tube to mount a
bike.
The Explorer's suspension fork offers over 2" of bump-eating, coil sprung
suspension with alloy crown, stout 28mm stanchions and mini-boots to protect
sliders
Our smooth-rolling 26 x 1.95" Sport Comfort tires are more comfortable to ride
around town than full knobby mountain bike tires.

Tektro's Tenera brake levers offer slip-resistant, shock-absorbing inserts on the
finger contact points for more secure, comfortable braking
Our super plush saddle features high-density polyurethane padding for optimum
support with maximum comfort. The slip-resistant suede-type top prevents
sliding and the burnished side panels reduce leg friction while pedaling.
Elastomer springs help soak up high resonant road vibrations. Offered in gender
specific sizes.
With an inch of coil-sprung telescoping travel, the Explorer's suspension
seatpost helps to smooth out the road and trail.
Our long quilled, angle-adjustable stem and 3" rise handlebars offer a supremely
comfortable, upright ride position that's easy on neck & wrists.
The rubber-like inserts on the pedals are actually slip-resistant, offering some
