| Features | This is our most affordable Earth Cruiser thanks to the lower cost but highly
durable hi-tensile steel frame and hot forged steel crank.
Our compact cantilevered cruiser design offers the lightest possible weight,
with 4 sizes assuring a better fit for a more comfortable and secure ride.
Our traditional seat-tube-centerline crank position offers the most comfortable
pedaling position on all terrains. It's also more stable and easier to pedal from a
stop, and is easier to pedal when out of the saddle than crank-forward designs.
Alex's Zuma alloy rims are reliably true & durable and are laced with 36
stainless steel spokes on the Earth Cruiser II producing a strong, rust-resistant
wheel.
The ECI features a near all-alloy parts list -- alloy micro-adjust seat post, alloy
stem, alloy seat post clamp, alloy front hub, alloy rims, alloy kickstand -- all of
which add value, eliminate rust and reduce weight for an easier to pedal, more
comfortable ride.
The Earth Cruiser saddle is similar to the one we use on our Jamis Explorer
sport comfort bikes -- with extra padding and hi-density polyurethane foam for
optimum support with maximum comfort. Offered in gender specific shape and
sizing for each of our Men's and Women's models
The slip-resistant suede-type top prevents sliding and the burnished side
panels reduce leg friction while pedaling. Elastomer springs help soak up high
resonant road vibrations.
Our Jamis Cruiser bar is the most sensibly designed in the business -- just the
right width, sweep & rise, for a perfectly comfortable upright ride that won't
accidentally knock you in the ribs during tight radius, slow speed turns like in a
driveway or parking lot
The rubber-like inserts on the pedals are actually slip-resistant, offering some
shock-absorption as well, for a safer, more secure ride. You can even ride
barefoot comfortably! |
