FeaturesOur Coda series Reynolds 520 double-butted chromoly frame rides smoother & more comfortably than comparably priced aluminum framed bikes thanks to the natural shock damping qualities of steel. Coda Elite's carbon fiber fork has been designed specifically to manage and disperse the brake torque generated by the disc brake at the fork tips. A full Shimano drivetrain ensures the quickest, most reliable shifts every time, all the time. The 27-speed RapidFire shifting drivetrain with Shimano M521 48/36/26 crankset, Deore derailleurs and 11-32 cassette offers a much larger gear range, with much lower gearing, for easier hill climbing than standard or compact double chainring road and street bikes. Tektro's HDC-300 dual piston hydraulic disc brakes offer more power, better modulation & feel, require less maintenance and are often lighter than many cable-actuated disc brakes. The Alex/Shimano wheel set is light, but tough, for on or off-road durability, with excellent load carrying capability & handling. The spindle of the Shimano Octalink Drive bottom bracket is splined to increase contact area between crank and spindle for a stiffer, stronger interface. Vittoria's Randonneur 32c tires offer more air volume & a larger footprint to make for a more comfortable & stable ride. They also offer increased puncture resistance thanks to a Double Shielding casing and reflective sidewalls for enhanced visibility at night. Selle San Marco's new SPID Arrowhead saddle looks and rides fast but is smartly designed for comfort as well, thanks to the ergonomic shape and pressure relief cut-out in the shell. NVO Components ATS adjustable-height stem system is much lighter than traditional angle adjustable stems, and offers a much faster and easier method for adjusting handlebar height for more efficient and comfortable riding. Our Jamis alloy flat handlebar bar is significantly lighter than "riser" bars often found on street bikes. With a 25.4 bar and stem it looks sleeker & faster, too. Our new kraton dual-compound grips are anatomically shaped for increased comfort and control.
