| Features | The Bosanova frame features Size Specific Tubing (SST): smaller frames are
constructed with smaller diameter tubing to retain resiliency and ride quality, while
larger frames are constructed using larger diameter tubing to retain stiffness for
larger riders.
The Bosanova's Reynolds 520 double-butted chromoly frame rides smoother &
more comfortably than comparably priced aluminum framed bikes, thanks to the
natural shock damping properties of steel, with plenty of fender & rack mounts for
full accessorizing (we've thoughtfully already included the fenders).
Bosanova's frame geo is more like the Quest than it is the Aurora series bikes, with
sloping top tube frame geo, shorter chainstays and wheelbase, making it a perfect
drop-bar urban commuter.
The carbon fiber fork on the Bosanova has been designed specifically to manage
the brake torque generated by the disc brake at the fork tips while offering a full
compliment of braze-ons for low riders, fenders and racks.
Alex DC25 disc specific rims are double-walled for strength and laced using
stainless steel spokes in a 32 hole 3-cross pattern to always-dependable Formula
Disc specific road hubs to assure smooth rolling under load day after day.
Shimano's new Tiagra 10-speed group has been redesigned and engineered. With
new ergonomic shaped shift levers, across the board 10-speed compatibility and
wider gear ranges this group has it covered.
FSA's forged Vero triple-ringed 50/39/30T crankset in tandem with the 12-30T
cassette offers a large range of gear ratios for comfortable & secure riding both
up & down.
Avid's BB5 disc brakes offer powerful stopping with light action at the lever. Their
proprietary TRI-ALIGN Caliper Positioning System aligns pads with rotors easily &
perfectly all the time, every time. The G2 CleanSweep 160mm rotors are designed
to help keep dirt and grime from balling up your commute
Vittoria's Randonneur Cross 28mm tires offer slightly more air volume to offer
more durability while delivering optimal road-holding capability & ride quality. These
tires also feature a "double-shield" protective barrier in the tire casing that helps
to prevent puncture flats.
Selle San Marco's new SPID Arrowhead saddle looks racy while at the same time is
designed for comfortably thanks to the ergonomic shape and pressure relief cutout
in the shell.
NVO Components ATS adjustable-height stem system is much lighter than angle
adjustable stems and adjusts handlebar height more easily & quickly too.
Ritchey Logic bars feature a short reach (73mm) super shallow (128mm) drop for
more a comfortable riding position. Add gel inserts and bar tape and you can ride
all day!
Full coverage alloy fenders with mud flaps are light & stylish and protect both rider
