The 2012 Jamis Allegro 2 is a flat-bar road bike. Built to be adaptable, the aluminum frame/carbon fork combine to deliver a fast, resilient ride, armed with braze-ons for racks and fenders to convert this zippy recreational ride into a full-on commuter. Kit is reliable and low-maintenance, including Shimano's clean-shifting Tiagra drivetrain, Tektro's mini-V brakes, and R500 wheels, rolling fast in Vittoria's tough Randonneur tires.
