I've had the bike a week and put about 100 miles on it so far. Overall the bike is great. Not the lightest bike you can get although it seems responsive enough when you stomp the pedals. Climbs well enough with the wide gear range but the heavy wheel set holds it back a little.

The SRAM Apex 1x drive train shifts smoothly and is quiet. The wide range of gears on the cassette (11-42) takes a little getting used to because it is missing gears that I had on my 2 x 10 set-up on my previous bike and I find myself shifting a little more. I seemed to shift less by my 3rd ride as I learned where the missing gears were and it's an easily solvable "issue" by simply swapping out the cassette.
The frame is nice and provides a nice, smooth ride. Combined with wider 28mm tires, which is what my bike came with despite Cannondale's website saying 25mm, really smooths out the rough patches and I felt I didn't need to avoid as much rough pavement, gravel and manhole covers as I did with my previous bike.
The disc brakes a real upgrade from the rim brakes. They have real stopping power and give me a lot more confidence on the steep descents.
The Maddux RD 2.0 wheel set looks nice and seem solid, but ponderous. Getting them up to speed takes a bit of work and they roll nicely on the flats when they get there. Climbing they seem steady but sluggish. I have purchased a set of Mason X Hunt wheels and should get a good comparison once they arrive but I am hoping they make the bike a bit more responsive as I suspect they'll be 500 to 600 Grams lighter.
The Schawlbe Lugano tires should be an embarrassment to Cannondale. They are absolutely awful. tests show they have a horrible rolling resistance which I can verify. Quality control on the tires is awful as well. My rear tire was defective and had to be replaced. Here is a link to the review/test. It's a couple of years old but trust me it is still valid http://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com/road-bike-reviews/schwalbe-lugano-2015. I put a set of Continental Grand Prix 4000 S II's on and I felt an immediate difference. Cannondale REALLY should ship these with different tires. If you're buying this bike buy a set of tires with it. You won't be disappointed and you'll likely need to replace them soon anyways.
Overall it's a good value with the SRAM Apex 1x components
