Read more I’ve been riding Cannondales for more than 30 years. I’ve owned other high end brands including customs, but I always come back to the dales. I bought the big brother to this bike, the CAAD 13 last year, but wanted something I could beat up a bit more on commutes and cycling paths. For a big guy like me, 6’ 5”, 250 lbs., I knew the wheels would not hold up. After three rides, the front wheel was basically toast. In anticipation, I already had some sturdy wheels waiting in the wings. All other components, including the mostly 105 groupo, work like a dream. I love the bike. It is stiff yet compliment. I can ride hard and not feel beat up at the end of the day. It corners like a dream and makes climbing more enjoyable than not. If you are big, be aware the wheels are junk. A switch out will still give you a high performing bike a reasonable price. Cannondales work for me and I am pleased as punch with my new bike.
