Read more I use Bike Force at Joondalup but I broke a gear cable and as I commute by bike I needed it fixed quickly. Joondalup is so popular it was a 3 week wait to get it in, so I went to Woodvale. "No problem, they can do it straight away and only $10 for the cable and $20 to fit it". I went to pick it up that afternoon at 5PM but it was not ready, they did not call to say it was not ready, so that was not a good start. Next day I pick it up and they have replaced my Bontrager cork gel tape with this horrible sticky plastic bar tape called lizard skin and it is not even, one side is much shorter then the other. Then to make matter worse the tape is $60 and the labour is now $120 - non of the work was authorized but if I want my bike I have to pay!
Previous to this I brought a Mountain bike from Woodvale, after a year I started getting broken spokes. I got them to replace them at $30 a pop, years later after the 10th spoke replacement I buy replacement wheels from the Joondalup store and find out those wheels were faulty and there was a recall on them, free replacement! Woodvale never notified me.
