Lake Tahoe deep blue, the colour is called, and I like it! I don't usually comment on the paint choice but I'm a bit of a blue fan and this bike really turned my eye...now to more important stuff...
The Tahoe 29 1.3 is a mid-range alloy 29er hardtail from Fuji. This line of bikes are aggressive XC platforms designed to be ridden hard and fast. The frame features very short chainstays which help keep the bikes handling snappy and very '29erish'!
Component choices, as usual from Fuji, make the Tahoe very price competitive. The Fox Float 29 Evolution with tapered steerer and 15mm thru axle starts it off, providing the bike with precise and solid handling when riding at speed through the rough stuff. Top this off with the SLX and XT 2x10 drivetrain and you've got a well priced performance weapon for XC riding and potentially racing.
The Oval cockpit components get the job done and the only shortcut is potentially the chain. I like to see Shimano chains mated to Shimano cranks, cassette and derailleurs, maybe it's just me....
Overall this is a great package from Fuji and would suit the "go fast" 29er crowd. A good option for XC singletrack riding and perhaps racing.
