Velo Labs Skylock

The 2016 Velo Labs Skylock is a smart lock. Designed to integrate with your smart phone, it's intended to provide theft alerts, crash alerts, offer keyless entry, and more. Access sharing, among friends or as a way to share rides, is part of the Skylock. Top-level encryption protects your bike. Should your phone die, a capacitive interface allows a sequence of touches to open the lock. The lock is powered by solar panels; expose the panels to sun and twelve hours' worth will keep the lock charged for as much as six months.
