| Features | Tuned Tapered Headtube: The Tune Tapered headtube combines 1 1/8” upper bearings with 1.5” lower bearings for great steering accuracy and front end stiffness. The curved shape maximizes the material’s strength and properties to be a stiff and light head tube design.
SBC Torsion Strut: Our custom SBC Torsion Strut is lightweight and strong. This adds extra support between the seat stays and the chain/seat stay on disc side to limit torsional flexing during trail riding. The SBC logo adds a custom design touch and enhances our goal of integrated design and style.
Double-O Technology: The ovalised top and down tubes, combined with support struts and overall large diameter tubing provides a stiff and responsive chassis to be accurate even when the trail is rough and twisty. All your energy is directed into going forward with precise direction.
Lateral Lite Seat Stays: The thin seat stays have a special forming that makes them laterally stiff, yet build some vertical compliance into the rear triangle for added comfort.
Secure Seatpost Location: Our forward-facing seat clamp slot is away from the water and dirt sprayed up by the rear wheel, keeping the clamping area protected and secure.
Rapid Response Chain Stays: Short and stiff chainstays provide not only a responsive drive forward, but keep cornering agile, allowing one to ride through tight and twisty trails. |
