Shinola Detroit Arrow (2016)

The Detroit Arrow is Shinola’s single-speed bicycle - streamlined for urban riding and hand assembled by our bike specialists in Detroit. Available in black and white color options, in both men’s and women’s frame styles, the Detroit Arrow features a completely new TIG-welded TrueTemper steel frame design, manufactured at Waterford Precision Cycles in Wisconsin. The Detroit Arrow is hand assembled with an all-black component spec, including a Shinola leather saddle, cork grips, fenders, chain guard and bell. Custom laser-cut rear dropouts feature the Shinola “S,” which matches the same “S” detail cast in our proprietary fork crown. Threaded eyelets in the rear dropouts accept fenders and rear racks. Puncture-resistant 700x32 C tires with a 3M reflective strip deliver a smooth, safe ride. Each component is fitted by hand and tested for quality precision. This close attention to detail ensures that every bicycle that ships from our Detroit workshop delivers impeccable reliability and craftsmanship.
