| Features | Hydro II Tubing: Hydroformed 6061 aluminum-alloy frame tubing engineered to tune the flex properties of a frame with high precision, providing stiffness or flex exactly where desired and maximizing frame performance. Hydro II is our second generation engineered shape tubeset which provides lighter weight tubing with similar strength and ride qualities as the previous generation. Integrated Dynamo Light System: Full light and hub charging system featured on the Fairfax SC6 that integrates a Shimano Alfine Dynamo front hub with a Supernova E3 Pro head and tail light unit for nighttime riding. The system provides a 305 lumen output through the hub’s 6V-3.0W charging capacity when moving. The system includes a capacitor that allows the light to remain lit for up to 5 minutes while standing still. All wires are routed through integrated guides on the frame and also utilize a wire quick-connect to allow easy front wheel attachment and removal. Security Skewer System: Integrated wheel and seatpost skewers included on Marin Urban and Speed Commuter models with specially designed heads that require a dedicated tool for operation, deterring possible theft of parts. Special removable hex wrenches are included with each bike for fastening. CNC’d aluminum sleeves encase the bolt heads to prevent loosening with pliers or vise grips. |
