The 2015 Marin Bikes Fairfax SC2 IG is a city bike. Componentry is chosen for reliablity, simplicity and low maintenance, including a Shimano 8-speed internally geared hub, linear-pull rim brakes, and platform pedals. The aluminum frame is light and fast, with upright geometry which meshes well with the flat handlebar for a comfortable, aware riding position, excellent for traffic. A highlight of the build is the wheelset, light alloy rims clad in Schwalbe pavement tires.
