| Features | RVS Seatstay: The Rapid Vibration Suppression system is our tuned seatstay forming process designed to reduce shock transmission between the rider and rough road surfaces. Used on alloy and carbon road bikes, the stays are formed and arced with specially butted tubes to allow for the vertical deflection of impacts generated at the rear wheel. Carbon models feature an additional split-wishbone brake arch to increase surface area for shock dissipation and resist torsional flex from hard pedaling efforts and impacts while leaned over in a corner. Endurance Fit Geometry: Marin’s endurance road geometry, which combines a more neutral riding position with performance-oriented dimensions. This encompasses small changes in the frame, like a longer wheelbase, more stable steering angle and slightly taller head tube. Together these details unite to deliver a ride quality that is fast and responsive while isolating the rider from excessive fatigue. Additional frame features include fork and frame dimensions for fitment of larger-volume 25c tires and our Power Taper seat tube featured on carbon models that utilizes an oversized dimension at the bottom bracket area to maximize rigidity before gradually tapering to use a smaller-diameter seatpost for optimal rider comfort. Carbon and alloy frames feature our RVS(Rapid Vibration Suppression) system, which are radially-arced and formed seat stays that reduce the transmission of bumps from rough roads. |
