Malvern Star Wisp 2 (2016)

The 2016 Malvern Star Wisp 2 is a casual city bike. Comfortable and stylish, the Wisp's chromoly frame is step-through for easy on-and-off, with relaxed, upright seating, the latter enhanced by the padded sprung saddle. Equipped well and simply, with an internal three-speed gear, hand and coaster brakes, and light alloy wheels inside smooth-rolling pavement tires.
Accessories are glorious. All the basics are present, full fender, a kickstand, a chainguard. In addtion the Wisp sports a sturdy rear rack and a wire-frame front basket, snugly holding a removable wicker carrier, perfect for shopping trips.
Of the two color schemes available, the cream is slightly more delightful. Fenders, rack, basket and spot graphics are all in a nicely contrasting teal, resulting in a bike that's pretty as a picture.
A very good around-town bike.
