Focus Raven Rookie 1.0 (2014)

The 2014 Focus Raven Rookie 1.0 is a kid's bike. Available in three wheel sizes, with frame and componentry sized to match, the Rookie is a good match for just about any young rider that's ready to take on the trail. Echoing its bigger brother, kit is mountain-ready, from the Shimano gearing and V-brakes to the light, tough alloy wheels, clad in Schwalbe's go-anywhere Impac treads.
The aluminum frame is fit for growing riders, with a low standover height and upright seating for confident, aware travels. Each size is nicely equipped for casual rider comfort, with grippy platform pedals, a cushy padded seat and grips, and right-sized controls.
A very good kid's bike for future trailhounds.
