Focus Planet 1.0 (2016)

The 2016 Focus Planet 1.0 is a mid-range city bike. Designed from the ground up for urban riders, the Planet is low-maintenance, agile, and laid out for fast, aware riding. The frameset is lightweight, responsive aluminum alloy, with seating a bit below flat to keep the eyes in line with surroundings and the profile small. Kit is perfect for the urban warrior: an eight-speed internal hub is driven with a Gates belt drive, weather-proof, rust-proof, and simple, cranks are stiff Truvativs, brakes are all-condition Shimano hydraulic discs, and the wheels are light alloy, clad in Continental's ace SportContact pavement tire.
An investment, to be sure, but a good one for the regular city rider, who will ride fast and confident through traffic jams and over potholes, arriving at the destination unwinded.
