At the heart of each Lux 29 is our rugged Diamondback Lux Women’s Specific Butted 6061-T6 aluminum frame with formed top and down tubes providing strength and style with clean lines. Woman-specific, this frame is easier to swing your leg over and get pedaling! The DB Snake stays add strength and style while a replaceable hanger add the finer touches. The components provide more proof of our commitment to providing you with the most appropriate package and value for your money.
A Suntour XCT fork with 80mm travel fork gives you command of the trail without all of the extra costly bells and whistles—but it’s still capable of climbing or descending your favorite trail with ease. Softer springs make this a more friendly and forgiving fork for the female rider.
The brakes are trail-tuned and provide plenty of stopping power, and the grippy WTB Wolverine tires give you control on every surface. Adjustable-reach levers ensure that safety will never feel too far away.
The Shimano FCM131 crankset (22/32/42t) is a good match for the Shimano TX50 front derailleur, the Shimano Altus 7spd rear derailleur and Shimano HG20 7spd Cassette (12-28t). This combo provides more than enough gearing options to get you where you want to go.
Diamondbacks signature alloy stem and Lazer Bar are Devine women’s-specific width and low rise to create the perfect riding position for the female rider. A DB Lazer Micro Adjust 30.9mm post and Devine Edition MTB saddle ensure that you can pedal all day long.
