The 2013 Diamondback Assault boasts of a 6061-T6 Aluminum frame with a tapered head tube, Mission formed top tube and steel reinforced horizontal BMX dropouts, these frames are stout and fully capable of going big. And weighing in at a respectable 4.5 lbs makes this one of the lighter dirt jump frames on the market.
Rocking a single speed specific horizontal dropout keeps things clean and simple. 69° head and 72° seat angles combined with significantly compact 15.3" chainstays and a 22” or 23" sloping top tube make the Assaults easy to throw around and manual for days.
The Assault frameset comes out of the box standard with an FSA No.57 tapered headset with 1.5 / 1 1/8" alloy cups and sealed cartridge bearings and a Diamondback signature Pivotal saddle and Alienation Billy Club post.
