Curana's CLite chainguards are made out of a sandwich composite material. It is a laminated material with a cor in plastic and two layers of thin aluminium. The combination of these layers results in a stiff, lightweight material.

Curana came up to the idea of using this material for mudguards and chainguards. As for the chainguards, we can make any shape and any dimension without the need of any kind of tooling.
