Cube AMS 130 HPA Race 27.5 (2014)

Our proven AMS got a whole new character. We redesigned it around 27.5" wheels, redeveloped the kinematics and geometry, and voilà – a high tech chassis which is a great climber and offers plenty of capability on the downhills. The AMS HPA Race is the perfect bike for long rides, transalp tours and all-mountain fun, featuring dependable XT components and high-performance Fox suspension. One of the reasons for the great riding characteristics is our Efficient Ride Control – minimal bobbing and brake influence, with identical performance for all frame sizes. The hydroformed, triple butted High Performance 7005 Aluminum frame features a PressFit bottom bracket shell for a wider junction to the seat and down tubes, guaranteeing the optimum flow of forces and high lateral stiffness. The new AXH dropouts stiffen the rear triangle even more. The frame is prepared for adjustable seat posts with internal cable routing. The components are top-notch: Brakes and gears are completely Shimano XT, including the new XT crankset with optimum gear ratio. The high performance suspension setup includes the lightweight Fox 32 Float CTD FIT air fork with a QR15 axle for enhanced stiffness. The Fox Float CTD BoostValve shock has a CUBE custom tune and adjustable rebound. Both have the CTD dial with selectable Climb, Trail or Descend modes. The DT CSW AM 2.7 wheelset is a key part of this all-round package, with a wider C23 rim for stiffness and better support of wide tires. The Syntace F149 stem and Vector 2014 bar are very stiff but lightweight – a great combination.
