Its special layup of different carbon fibre types enables the frame to combine maximum rigidity and comfort values with minimum weight. Short chain stays for playful but safe handling, a low bottom bracket for a good seat position on the bike and a short head tube for responsive climbing – the Grand Canyon CF SLX is perfect for racing.
Another highlight is the Impact Protection Unit (IPU) in the top tube which prevents the handlebar damaging it in the event of a fall. The extremely rigid oversize head tube ensures even more agile handling and a safe ride feeling on high speed descents. Its race-tested geometry makes the new Canyon CF SLX ideal for ambitious CX and Marathon riders.
The Grand Canyon CF SLX frameset is packed with features such as the Cane Creek 40 headset with IPU, Canyon seat clamp, X-12 through-axle and Ritchey WCS 4-Axis steam. Important: This frameset is not approved for fitting a Sram XX1 or X01 groupset.
