Canyon Grand Canyon CF SL 29 Frameset (2014)

Created using the genes of the Grand Canyon CF SLX and innovative features such as internal gear cables, the X12 through-axle system and Press fit internal bearing, the new Grand Canyon CF SL slots perfectly into the successful Canyon carbon hardtail family. The perfectly coordinated carbon layup provides the frame with outstanding rigidity and generates the sort of direct thrust that every race rider wants. Canyon VCLS (Vertical Comfort Lateral Stiffness) technology guarantees the rider maximum comfort at the rear due to the small tube cross-sections of the top tube, seat stays and seat post and the use of special fibres in these areas.
The race-tested twenty-niner geometry with short chain stays deliver top climbing and descent performance, whilst the Maximus seat tube and low bottom bracket ensure the perfect seat position on the bike. The extremely rigid oversize head tube ensures even more agile handling and a safe ride feeling on high speed descents.
The Grand Canyon CF SL frameset is packed with features such as the Cane Creek 40 headset with IPU, Canyon seat clamp, X-12 through-axle and Ritchey WCS 4-Axis steam. Important: This frameset is not approved for fitting a Sram XX1 or X01 groupset.
