The 2016 Cannondale Slate Force CX1 is a top-end road bike, with an open mind. The light, responsive aluminum frame is matched with the custom Lefty short-travel suspension fork for a smooth ride over pavement, cobbles, dirt, or gravel. The wheelset is fast-rolling alloy 650, clad in fat Panaracer slicks for a big, confidence-inspiring contact patch. Kit is commensurate: SRAM's X1 drivetrain, integrating the hollow-armed Cdale single-ring crank, and Guide disc brakes.
A very good road bike for the adventurous.
