Bottecchia Chronothlon R 971 (2013)

Extraordinary frame studied for the time trial and for the Triathlon, so called Cronothlon.The aero dynamical and bio mechanical studies kept us to some solutions, such as the integrated handlebar, cables and brakes, so to make it similar to a unique structure. Chronothlon is the first bike with the brakes really integrated in the frame.This innovative configuration has been realized with a specific fluid mechanical formula, which bring to a lower resistance to the blast and for this reason a higher speed and a clean and essential design.To reach high speed we need to have a bike with a smaller front surface, thanks to the tubes sections. A new important solution has been taken to the seat post regulation, essential for the even strictest rules from the UCI, both for the time trial and the triathlon. A last mention goes to the graphic, aggressive and up-to-date, designed from our Italian Centre Style Bottecchia.
