Avanti Torrent S2 (2017)

The 2017 Avanti Torrent S2 is a high-end all-mountain bike. Ace kit throughout: components include e.thirteen's one-ring crankset, with guide, DT Swiss wheels, Shimano Deore gearing and brakes, and go-anywhere Continental treads, fat in front, skinny in back. All this well-behaved gear is hung on a spare, elegant aluminum frame, its layout surprisingly open for a full-suspension rig. Suspension, courtesy of RockShox, is a full 150mm front and back, providing supple, sensitive handling with a tolerance for the big bumps.
A very good all-mountain bike.
