Avanti Torrent CS (2017)

The 2017 Avanti Torrent CS is a top-end all-mountain bike. A substantial jump from the next model, the CS includes an all-carbon main frame, RockShox' Pike fork, and the ace Debonair shock, summing to a nimble ride that responds smoothly to anything you throw at it. The wheelset is commensurate, providing solid footing and a readiness to jump off the line, the DT Swiss M1900s light, tough and true, with Continental sneakers for bite. SRAM's brakes and Shimano's drivetrain are both top-notch, managing braking and shifting chores capably and quietly.
A very good all-mountain bike.
