The 2017 Avanti Montari E is an electric mountain bike. Starting with a nice all-round off-road build, including Shimano gearing, hydraulic disc brakes, and a light, tough alloy wheelset clad in go-anywhere treads, the E adds Shimano's STEPS motor, seamlessly integrated at the bottom bracket and available at the flick of a switch. The power assist opens up a world of possibilities; take on tougher climbs, longer rides, and carry more gear, all in a day's work for the Montari E.
