Avanti Competitor C1 (2017)

The 2017 Avanti Competitor C1 is a mid-range cross-country racing hardtail. Built on a light and zippy carbon frame, paired with RockShox' 30 Gold fork, it's ready to jump; the bombproof alloy wheels in slender Kenda treads will sprint off the line. Shifting and braking chores along the course are capably addressed by Shimano, the Deore mix drivetrain shifting quickly and cleanly under duress and the M365 hydraulic discs stopping at the brink of trouble.
A very good cross-country racer.
