Zipp 900 Clincher

When we introduced the 900 we changed expectations for disc wheels. We demonstrated that they didn't have to weigh as much as a small dog while offering the stiffness necessary to perform under the world's greatest cyclists. The 900 continues to be the disc of choice for riders who want the speed of a disc and the ease of use of a clincher rim.

Rather than post-bonding a rim around a flat or lenticular disc, we've incorporated our patented toroidal rim shape and used our proprietary M2CM™ technology to increase strength while reducing drag around the interface of aluminum and carbon. For long-course triathletes, the bulged cross-section offers a comfortable vertical compliance that can reduce fatigue during long stretches in the saddle.

With the ease of clinchers and optimal aerodynamics for tires up to 23 mm, the 900 Clincher is the perfect choice on less-than-perfect road surfaces. This disc may also be adapted for track use.
