Rechargeable battery
Ride+ lithium ion batteries hold their charge for an exceptionally long time. And when the low battery indicator tells you it’s time to recharge, you can remove the battery or leave it on the bike, and plug it in to any standard electrical outlet.

Ride+ is a bicycle with a motor and battery. When the electric-assist system is engaged, it provides a boost to your own pedal power. That means you can pedal farther, faster, and with less effort.

Our high-performance brushless hub motor eliminates friction and wear on internal parts. Its smooth, quiet ride maximizes the lithium ion battery’s energy and provides 350 watts of powerful torque at a wide range of speeds. Hills? Headwinds? No problem.
44-cell battery
This new, state of the art battery is used in our most performance oriented models. Maximum power (260Wh) combined with a range of over 40 miles.
Syn Drive
Trek’s innovative Syn Drive electronic motor management system constantly adjusts power flow based on pedaling force, resistance, and speed. You control it with an easy-to-use handlebar-mounted computer that also displays battery life, assistance, time, speed, and distance.
Regenerative braking
Put Ride+ into regenerative mode while going downhill, and your brakes will keep the bike at a constant speed while converting the remaining downhill momentum into energy. Ride+ uses that energy to charge the battery, maximizing battery life over longer rides.
