HOW The new carbon front triangle limits the weight to a minimum while boosting torsional rigidity. Geometry is specially adapted to the XC Trail experience with angles of headtube and seat tube more open to create a more playful / less aggressive stance and balance capacity up and down.
ADJUSTING SUSPENSION AUTOSAG
WHAT IS IT Technology revolutionary SBC produced by Fox and RockShox (depending on model). It automatically adjusts the driving pressure and adequate air damper. (All models except Base.)
WHY quick and easy adjustment to ensure the proper setting Sag, for always performing suspension.
HOW From the saddle, the driver presses the special drain valve to drain the excess air pressure. This will depress the damper to an ideal point defined by Specialized.
CARBON WHEELS
WHAT IS IT Wheels Roval Control Trail SL 29 with carbon rims (S-Works only or aftermarket). The Expert model is equipped with wheels Carbon Control 29.
WHY Reduce weight, increase rigidity and reliability and absorb shock better than aluminium wheels.
How We designed 29 "wheels with ultra-light carbon wheels with wide tires to receive large volume. The carbon rim is stronger and stiffer than aluminium rim to delay the onset of sailing and to absorb shocks . Combining the cross and radial shelving also reduces weight and improves the overall robustness.
TELESCOPIC SEATPOST SPECIALIZED COMMAND POST IR
WHAT IS IT telescopic seatpost, mechanical system remote control, adjustable to three positions over a total range of 100mm or 125mm. With new internal cable route and convenient location of the air valve.
WHY Allows the pilot to climb or descend the saddle, rolling for greater efficiency and control over varied terrain.
HOW lever mounted on the handlebar to adjust the seat on one of the three seat heights. The driver can choose between the high position for maximum power, the intermediate position (- 35 mm) for the winding sections and impossible climbs and down (- 125mm) for maximum clearance and stability in technical descents. |
