The 2017 Specialized S-Works Toupé is a top-of-the-line road racing saddle. Its latest incarnation sports a nearly flat sitting profile, putting the rider's weight on the sit bones rather than soft tissue, reducing numbness and discomfort, with a cutout to keep the pressure low. The shell just about eliminates the dreaded sag; carbon composite, it bears up over the kilometers. The cover's light texture is enough to keep the rider from slipping, without interference on out-of-te-saddle efforts.
