The 2014 Salsa Colossal Ti is a mid-range road racer. Built on a sweet titanium frame, with tight clearances, a snug rear triangle, and an incredible ride, the Colossal holds a tight line and offers a level of comfort unseen outside titanium. Kit is commensurate: Shimano's ultra-reliable high-performance mechanical Ultegra drivetrain is met by Avid road disc brakes and a Thomson/Salsa cockpit; wheels are ace DT Swiss, paired with the very fast Schwalbe tubeless racing Ultremo slicks.
