FeaturesABC™ Pivots: Our Angular Bushing Concept (ABC™) pivots rotate on a tapered alloy insert, eliminating binding. They weigh less than half the weight of a typical bearing system — 20 grams lighter per pivot, for 120 grams of weight savings on a six-pivot frame. ABC™ Pivots are also twice as stiff as typical bearing systems and require less maintenance to boot! FORM™ Alloy: Each FORM™ tube that we create is engineered for its specific purpose within the frame, ensuring optimized strength, weight, and ride quality. FORM™ tubesets utilize premium materials to meet our strict requirements. Ride-9™ System: Riders come in all sizes and ability levels, and the terrain they ride varies. Our patent pending RIDE-9™ System enables the rider to customize geometry and suspension rate to their riding style and weight. Nine possible geometry and suspension rate configurations are possible thanks to two interlocking chip inserts. By moving the shock mount-point forward, the geometry slackens and the suspension rate becomes more progressive, giving greater bottom out resistance for more aggressive trail riding. When you move the shock backwards, the geometry becomes quicker and the suspension more supple for better climbing traction and ripping on technical singletrack. When you move the shock mount-point upwards, it requires a higher air pressure to support the rider at sag. This is beneficial to lighter riders, allowing them to ride “in the sweet spot” of the shock, and not wind up with an under pressurized shock, which feels overly harsh. Conversely, when you move the shock downwards, a heavier rider does not need as much air pressure, increasing shock and seal durability, and keeping the damping range usable. SMOOTHLINK™ Suspension: Our patented SMOOTHLINK™ Suspension design keeps suspension fully active and reduces pedal-bob. Designed to shine on singletrack climbs, it stays active-yet-neutral to maintain traction while climbing. By placing the rear chainstay pivot above the rear axle we keep the average chain torque line parallel to the lower link (the line between main pivot and rear pivot); this widens the gear range where pedaling neither compresses nor stiffens the suspension. It also allows us to fine-tune our bikes' end-stroke characteristics, preventing riders from blowing through travel and experiencing harsh bottom-outs.
